Established in 1982 by Mark Pulver to serve the greater Kalamazoo community in exterior and interior residential remodeling, Pulver Construction continues under the same leadership.
The initial emphasis was on restoration work following fires and other catastrophic losses.
Pulver Construction incorporated in 1984 and joined the Home Builders Association of Kalamazo. That same year, the company also expanded into commercial construction by building the first of 5 locations for Bobick's Golf.
In 1986, residential construction now included building new speculative homes as well as contract homes. The commercial division of Pulver Construction constructed the first of 37 Subway restaurants.
Mark was elected in 1987 to the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of Kalamazoo. Mark's chief goal was to work with the Association to help guarantee the success and performance of the construction trade in the community. Mark also served as Chairperson of the Ethics Committee, the 'Fast Built House' committee and the insurance committee.
1989 brought Mark's being voted "Builder of the Year" by the members of the Association. Continuing to give back to the community, Pulver Construction sponsors Habitat for Humanity endeavors.
Today, as in the past, emphasis at Pulver Construction Company is on building a quality product on schedule. Whether residential, commercial new construction or remodeling, Pulver Construction uses on quality materials and quality people to present a finished product that you can be proud of. Special care is taken to insure that construction is energy efficient, with raw materials that are earth friendly.
